The Club is supporting a team of 8 to 10 Serving & Veteran Royal Marines are to run the Exeter Marathon on 19th May 2019 to better the current World Record carrying 31lbs with a rifle (40lb in total). The RAF Regiment currently hold this record since 21st Apr 1991 where they achieved a time of 4hrs 33mins 58 secs.

This is the latest one of a number of World Record Speed March Attempts organised by the Club’s trustee Ray Mead.

Sponsorship/donations to The Royal Marines Club (ultimately TRMC) toward the RM Club Winter Deployments for RM's & Their Families for a Christmas Break in Norway and are to be split two ways for the The Royal Marines Charity and with Exeter CITY Community.
