The Royal Marines Club is a social club for Royal Marines, families and friends of the Corps.

The Royal Marines Club was founded to provide an informal way for serving and veteran Royal Marines and their families to stay connected with the Corps. Our emphasis is on friendship and camaraderie. We forge relationships that are built around the Commando Ethos, qualities such as determination, courage, unselfishness and cheerfulness in the face of adversity, and the all-important 'commando mindset': 'be the first to understand; the first to adapt and respond, and the first to overcome'.

Our global network is comprised of more than 8,000 people worldwide. People who apply to our network are screened to ensure they have an authentic connection to the Corps.

People from our network can apply for Club membership. All serving and veteran Royal Marines are welcome. Business members are invited to join by invitation, and are typically figures from the private sector who have displayed Commando qualities in their professional life. Our members come from all walks of life. Around 70% are former Royal Marines who work in business, finance, private security or the emergency services.

The Royal Marines Club hosts a wide range of activities - from craft beer evenings through to business workshops and outdoor weekends. We are a registered charity and proud partners of the Royal Marines Charity. We are also an official branch of the Royal Marines Association and assist with ‘cradle to grave’ support for the Corps family.

Members have no obligation to get involved in fundraising for the Club. There is, however, a culture of helping others and initiating projects that other members can benefit from.

New members are approved quarterly by the Club’s Membership Committee.
